- A. Credit card paying customers: A $100 deposit is required at the time of booking. The balance will be charged
to your credit card 14 days prior to your arrival. You will receive an "Instructions & Directions" e-mail within
5 days of our receiving your balance.
- If you are paying by check: The same rule as above applies, except your check for the balance must clear before our "Instructions
& Directions" e-mail is sent. Checks must be made payable to: Julie & Doug Smith. Checks made payable
to any other name will not be accepted.
- Any reservation made within 14 days of arrival must pay 100%. You will receive your "Instructions & Directions"
promptly.
- Cancellations made 14 days before arrival will receive a refund minus a $25 cancellation fee. Cancellations made
within 14 days of arrival will receive a credit towards another stay at our condo.
Rental Rules
- Check-in time is 3:00 PM (or after) on your scheduled check-in date. Early check-ins can be arranged by notifying us in
advance, but only with approval from us. Early check-ins will not be allowed on days when other guests are due to check out.
- Check-out time is 11:00 AM at the latest on your scheduled check-out date.
- Important! Pen-Mar Management Company operates the onsite rentals for the Gatlinburg
Summit. They require all guests who rent units through outside rental agencies or owners to place a $20 deposit to unrestrict
the phone if they wish to use it. This rule also applies to our unit. This is a requirement to place any calls outside the
property of the Summit. If you decide you need to make outside calls, you must place your $20 deposit with the front desk.
You will be charged a fee per call set by Pen-Mar and refunded the balance at the time you leave for home. Contact
the Summit at 1-800-967-4567 for fee info.
- Our condo is furnished with paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, tissues, dishwasher detergent, and dishwashing liquid.
A washer/dryer is located in the main building for a nominal fee. We do not furnish laundry detergent.
- Our condo is cleaned and inventoried before and after each stay and you will be held responsible for any breakage, excessive
cleaning (i.e. stains or burns in carpet, soiled bedspreads, etc.) or damage of any king to your rental.
- There is ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING of any kind inside the condo or on the balcony. There is also no smoking allowed in the
hallway or stairwells of the condo building. We have several allergies to smoke in our family so we would appreciate your
cooperation.
- Please follow the rules posted in the pool area for your safety. The pool is not in our control, swim at your own risk.
- Pets are not allowed in our condo or any condo at the Summit.
- Firewood is located on the far right side of the office. Please make sure any fires are completely extinguished before
you leave.
- As you leave for home, we ask that you load and run the dishwasher, set the thermostat to 80 degrees-summer/60 degrees-winter,
put all wet linens in the bathtub, and make sure all appliances and lights are off. There is a garbage dumpster to the left
of the building for disposing of your garbage.
